Join us as we explore the variety of ways that a co-housing community can be created in western Montgomery County near Am Kolel's Sanctuary Retreat Center near Poolesville, Maryland.

Co-housing is a type of collaborative housing in which residents actively participate in the design and operation of their own community.  It has elements that are similar to a Kibbutz, moshav or cooperative.  Historically, caring communities have been integral to Jewish life.  Come to the meeting to learn more.

Herb Cooper-Levy, former Executive Director of the National Association of Housing Cooperatives, will lead an interactive discussion about building a vision to blend a bit of heart and soul into a community we can create!
